Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) uses soft touch to evaluate and release restrictions in the tissue surrounding the central nervous system.  The rhythmic pulse of the cerebral spinal fluid through the craniosacral system, is returned to its normal flow allowing the central nervous system to perform optimally. This therapy brings about an improved state of health, reduction in pain, and a deep state of relaxation.

What to expect

During a Craniosacral Therapy (CST) session focus will be on releasing tension in the soft tissues protecting the brain and spinal cord.  The therapist will monitor for weak flow and/or tissue motion around the skull, sacrum, and spine and apply delicate manual techniques to release problem areas. CST is very gentle and therefore able to be used where other therapies may be contraindicated. Clients will remain fully clothed but remove all jewelry.  Blankets will be provided for comfort.
